Adult Ministries

There are many opportunities for adults to come and have fellowship and Bible study:

Sunday Adult Bible Class: during Sunday School Hour (from September - June). They meets in the church's Great Room every Sunday.

Small Group Ministry: Our first informative small group meeting will be at the church on Sunday, December 7th from 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. There will be three new groups with more details to follow: Pastor Weist and Mark Duffy will lead one on Marriage, Vicar Marc will lead one and Adam Bradley will lead one on a book of the bible (in-depth.)

Women’s Gathering: all women of St. Peter’s and community are invited to attend every First Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. It is an informal gathering of women coming together to encourage one another in their spiritual lives.

Men's Bibles & Bagels: all men are invited. They meet at Panera Bread on Van Aken Blvd every Wednesday at 6:30 a.m.

Women Tapestry: all women are invited. Tapestry is a group of women “Woven together by the love of Christ”. They meet at an area home every Thursday at 10:15 a.m. for bible study, good discussion and fellowship. Tapestry is the longest running small group at St. Peter’s, providing women opportunities for spiritual growth and enriching friendships for almost 15 years.

Mom's Support Group: all moms, young or old, with or without children are invited. They meet at area homes every Friday at 10:00 a.m. for bible study, fellowship, prayer and support.

Nursing Home Ministry: St. Peter’s has formed the Nursing Home Worship Group. We visit The Beachwood Pointe Care Center at 23900 Chagrin Blvd. the first Sunday of every month at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to take part, but we encourage youth to participate as the residents really enjoy having them.

Christianity 101 Class: offered once or twice a year for those who want to learn more about Lutherans and considering becoming a member of the church.
