St. Peter’s Lutheran church provides a variety of small group ministries for our church community. Our groups range from topical bible studies, books of the bible, themes, and support groups. These small group bible studies are at homes, St. Peter’s, and other churches.

Sunday Adult Bible Class

This class takes place during Sunday School Hour (from September - June). They meet in the church’s Great Room every Sunday. We are currently doing the study called “Knowing Scripture”.

The Truth Project

This small group Bible Study series is designed to take participants to the overall worldview tour, following the points of the worldview compass, a tool designed to direct our thinking with regard to four fundamental issues: Truth, God, Man, and the Social Order. It is an in-depth Christian Worldview Experience. The meetings are being held at the Simske residence. Call the church office to upcoming meeting date. All are welcome (including high schoolers).

Prayer Ministry Group

Everyone is invited to attend! Meets weekly at two different homes. We pray for the church, each other, and the community. We also will sing a song or two and have some coffee or tea. We meet for about 45 minutes.

Romans

This class meets every two weeks at the church. This is a very in-depth Bible study on Romans; please bring your own Bible. The class meets for approximately 1 and a half hours.

Tapestry

All women are invited. Tapestry is a group of women “Woven together by the love of Christ”. They meet at an area home every Thursday at 10:15 a.m. for bible study, good discussion and fellowship. Tapestry is the longest running small group at St. Peter’s, providing women opportunities for spiritual growth and enriching friendships for almost 15 years.

NEW Women’s Group

It meets at the church on the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of the month, beginning promptly at 7:30 p.m. and ending by 9 p.m. No childcare is available. Bible Study for the book of 1 John. All you need to bring is yourself and a Bible (or you can use a Bible from the church). The group is open to all women of St. Peter’s and their friends.
